'Reinventing Health Care' - A Discussion of Health Care Policy in America

Health care is a key issue for Americans today and one that the presidential candidates have addressed. A special program examining the nation’s healthcare system that features top decision-makers and influencers from the business, labor, academic and healthcare communities is now available for viewing at http://www.heartsforhealthcare.org.

The program, Reinventing Health Care, a Fred Friendly Seminar production, premiered on the Mississippi and Louisiana PBS stations on Thursday, Oct. 16. It will air exclusively on other PBS stations across the nation throughout the fall. 

This timely program engages the panelists in hypothetical scenarios reflecting the current health care struggles of many Americans. The panelists discussed various challenges and solutions that will shape the ongoing debate on healthcare reform.
